Geological and Ecological Risks in Exploration and Production of Oil
There are two categories of geological risks: the first concerns geological exploration works, particularly on poorly explored objects, the second is associated with the development of oil fields. Geological and ecological risks can be reduced by “the mind and hammer” (mente et malleo). This will allow protecting the nature and subsoil from the catastrophic shocks, keeping life and health of people in many regions, maintaining a stable level of oil and gas production, and adequately developing the business.
