The role of secondary mica forming mechanisms on the character of illite-smectite phases structure in the reservoirs watering

The differences in formation mechanisms of ranked illite-smectite mixed-layered phases structure with r=2 and r=1 for increasing the reliability of the initial stages identity of reservoirs process watering are described in this paper. Phases with r=3 occurred before watering which recorded by logging data, can be taken by diffraction characteristics for phases with r=1 and r=2, which correspond to a certain level of katagenesis in any rock types. The difference criteria are based on the different processes that implement such a structure: in the first case – particles disruption on nano-blocks borders, in the second case – appearance of the dislocation mechanism of mica crystal growth. For both cases the thickness of swellable packages is constant and corresponds to one or two H20 grids.
